Bidrage med feedbackWe visited here with my sister-in-laws living nearby. It was early afternoon Saturday and the bar quickly filled with what I am sure were all locals who want a cold brew and see a hockey game. The pub tea menu had many...of options, including a full-day breakfast. We ordered wraps and western sandwiches that were all excellent... everything was fresh and hot. As mainly a pub, the beverage selection was good to go with your food. It was too late a year to try the terrace, but they have live entertainment every Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. Our server was efficient and polite. Kelly's been here for a long time, and some might say it's dated and needs something tlc. For me, change nothing... never lose the story of a big old building like this.
If you are looking for a casual, old fashion lunch at Home Like Inn. Order a pint and a sandwich and relax for an hour or so. It is simple and tasty, no need to dress up or put on air! Just enjoy.
Great place for parties and St Patrick's day celebrations. Large terrace for summer parties with friends
My wife, two couples, and I went to this restaurant for lunch. We all decided to order the fish and chips special. Each plate came with six identical fish pieces and the same amount of chips, along with a small portion of Coleslaw. Unfortunately, the fish tasted like it was cooked from frozen and lacked flavor. We all agreed that the meal was not worth the price. The tables were sticky and the paper napkins quickly stuck to the surface. Additionally, there was no air conditioning in the restaurant. The only reason I am giving this place 2 stars is because of the friendly and humorous waitress.
This is the oldest neighborhood pub in town, run by the third generation who will gladly serve you a drink to satisfy your thirst. It is the perfect place to watch sports or relax on the patio during the summer. The food options vary from average to quite tasty.
