Excellent service with friendly owners and coworkers! they have a nice selection on the menu and eating is great! beautiful hometown feel.

The service was great, but eating was terrible. cheese on cheeseburger burned, cold soggyries. burn them meat. hard rolls. I do not recommend this place at all!

The food and ambiance at this restaurant are fantastic! Be sure to order the Cowboy Tenderloin - it's a must-try!

Place was a total ghost town. Creepy people who are basically trying to start their own little Czech country to preserve their heritage they say within Iowa. They currently have four cities included in the Czech Trail they want to call it if they aren 't already by now. Its like all the people in the entire town just up and vanished! Literally! There are still groceries in their little supermarket window, dead and wilted flowers and plants in the florist shop across the street. Next to that is a guy who lives in some old storefront property that is a conspiritist wacko. Has a giant blue tarp for a Northern wall stating that he purchasedk the entire building for under four thousand dollars two years ago...he is 29. Which by the end of a year 's lease would have been only a mere fraction of what a townsman was going to charge me for rent bsck across the street in what must be one of the worlds most perfect places for a horror/snuff/ bdsm filmsm. First you walk in and the floors are all slanted towards the rear of the shop. You can see through the cracks right into the basement where the incinerators and jail cell like windows are located. Also contains staircases inaccessible to anyone withoit first doing some MAJOR RENOVATIONS. IM TALKING MAJOR.!!! TOTAL DIVE ...TOTAL WASTE OF YOUR TIME. PLACE IS A REALLY A DUMP.

Our Czech heritage brought us there, but were surprised by lack of any Czech dishes and food was at the normal fried food , bar, tavern level. Waitress seemed to be someones daughter who was asked to come in cause all wait staff didn't, or maybe first day and first job. Waffle fries were over fried and came out not warm all 6 of us had them with dinner), most of grilled onions and peppers were burnt, Broasted chicken which is supposed to take the longest came out not crisp or very hot and was dry with out much taste. If i was in the area and hungry, i would stop and eat again, but not worth the hour and half drive we took to get there.
