Made a Halloumi Salad order. The spinach and the rucola were not fresh, tasting and looking disgusting. Also the bulgur was replaced with wheat I wasn’t informed about it or asked if it’s ok for me. The vinegar was also spoiled. Update: Before I left the place, the owner/manager came really upset at the table to check why I left this bad review, as the waiter lied about asking how the food was I was the one to tell her my the salad is not okay as she came to take away my plate. I was asked to never visit the place again and sure I won’t! The owner/manager/chef (he never told me who he was) started lecturing me about my bad values and morals, basically calling me a liar and generally had a really rude and unprofessional attitude.

I really enjoyed having dinner at Makeba. The service was great, the food was a bit above average just because the sauce I had. Beers and cocktails great for a hot summer evening. I’ll definitely come back here.

Few weeks ago they told us they try not to serve drinks with straws anymore (because of pollution and all . I saw some people were dissapointed, and I really appreciate the bar found a workaround: yesterday our drinks were served with cute paper straws. Kudos for the decision, Makeba! Oh, and all the staff is really nice and they serve everything pretty fast, but the straw thing really blew me away!:
