Mr. Sushi #2 - Clovis

GREAT!!!. Finally a great sushi place in Clovis! I love the atmosphere, the food and the service. I will be eating here often!

Solid sushi. Not surprised the poor reviews are old. We regularly order take out here as half the family does not care for seafood. Our order is always correct, fresh, and provided by rapid, very friendly servers. The prices are reasonable. My son and I highly suggest the ahi appetizer; it is one of our favorites.

The Perfect Sushi Spot for Locals. My kids and I walked the trail that runs behind the shopping center where Mr. Sushi is located. We stopped in, were greeted IMMEDIATELY, sat and served (several times) within an hour. The servers, chefs and other employees are so friendly and were VERY good with the kids. <br/ <br/ I'm no sushi pro, but I love their food. The miso soup is delicious, their rolls are great and their edamame is tasty and fresh! My kids especially love the bento box lunch special. WAY too much for for them (and even a lot of food for me), but at $4.95, it's a bargain! <br/ <br/ We're going again tonight. This will be the third time in the last week! Now I just have to decide which roll I'm going to order this time!

I went with my girlfriend because she loves this place. It wasn't bad, her dish (though I'm not a sushi person...ironic I know haha) was a let me see roll which I actually really liked and was decently priced. On the other hand, my dish (which granted this is a sushi joint), a spicy Korean ramen beef bowl, while spicy, was just ok flavor wise. Nothing to write home about, though at under 10$ it was reasonably priced and came with a side salad. the service was very polite however it was a bit slow. Overall, I would rate this trip a 3.5 out of 5 however, the sushi was closer to a 4/5!

Sweet young lady was our waitress. Although she was super busy and barely on her shift she gave us her attention and started with us right away. Very considerate of her. Not that big inside, little to no waiting area rite by the entrance door, but i guess its doable.
