Cracker Barrel - Cloverdale

My family of four went to Thanksgiving Day Dinner yesterday! There was a long waiting time, but it was worth waiting! We ordered the cracker barrel Thanksgiving Special and it was really delicious! We were very impressed not only with the amount of food you got, but how good it was! And our waiter was the best. His name was Michael and he was right there with everything we needed. Thanks to the cracker barrel of Troutville Va., for a great Thanksgiving Day food and I didn't mind waiting at all. There was time to buy the gift shop!! This can be a Thanksgiving tradition!!

Great food, excellent service. Server made sure that we had everything from apple butter for cookies (also with extra corn muffins), vinegar for greens, ketchup for frits, chow chow for pintos, drinks were filled, ask for reuben extra roasted (they ensured). Server took care of us. Food was great, reasonable prices. Location, now, unfortunately, it is difficult to reach with motorway construction, but it is worth going out the way.

That was the first time my husband and I were in this special cracker barrel. We had waited just before sitting, which gave us the opportunity to look through the gift shop. It was very nice and the last work on the floor was really nice and friendly. Our waitress was very pleasant and very attentive. We had a great meal. We loved everything we ordered. One; but the salad in the salad could have been a bit better comminuted, the pieces were something too big trying to put in my mouth. We had a good lunch. Thank you.

Great southern meals at decent prices. You will never leave hungry with the large portions and variety. I love the sides they offer and have never had anything that I didn 't like. Most recently the chicken pot pie was pretty good with enough that I took half of it home for the next day. The chicken and dumplings are always a hit and my husband and Granny both enjoyed the loaded sweet potatoe! Lastly, they of course have the best biscuits and apple butter (right after my families homemade apple butter at least . Update: I enjoyed the fired shrimp and they were very good and didn 't leave a fried taste in your mouth. I would definitely order them again!
