Gordons Cafe - Clovelly

Had a generous bowl with delicious hot Quinoa-Purridge with strawberries, bananas and nuts. they were very happy to swallow the honey also for yogurt. yum! Great coffee too.

I ordered a cheese and ham toastie at this restaurant, but what was brought to me was a cheese and ham croissant instead. Unfortunately, the croissant was very dry and not fresh. The coffee was served in a standard takeaway cup that started to fall apart before I finished my drink. Overall, I was very disappointed with my experience at this restaurant.

Ridiculous. They're supposed to be open until 3, but when I arrived at 1:50, they were already closed. They don't have milkshakes, don't accept cash payments, and the employees have the personality of a garbage can. What a joke.

Have something avo toast here (only vegan items on the menu) and the portion size was a tiny piece of brot for $16. when I asked about another disc brot, I thought it was free, but was charged an additional $5. in any case... will not return.

Eat inside or on the pavement. Watch world go by on busy route to beach. Very pleasantly simple decor. No interfering music. Service excellent and proactive (eg the automatic replacement bottle of water). Food first rate. Superb salads for under 20. Glass of wine...for under 10. Lots of other stuff too. Very respectable loos. Possible parking in, about and around the area. Right by a bus stop. We go occasionally this time for lunch and it maintains its attraction. Highly recommend.
