Molly's Cafe - Clonakilty

This was a fantastic find! What made this place extra special for us was our waitress Caoimhe. She was amazing! The restaurant was absolutely packed, but she was still on the ball the whole time. And the food and cocktails were delicious.

This is a cute and cosy wine bar/cafe which feels very European. There is a selection of wines and tapas to choose from, in addition to coffe/beers. Lovely setting and personable service.

We are just back from a trip to Clonakilty. We stayed 2 nights and ended up spending 2 lovely evenings in Molly's Cafe. It was a lovely relaxed atmosphere, nice decor and background music. Not your usual bar in Ireland. Felt a little bit like Central Perk from Friends! The cocktails were delicious. So we're the tapas- we tried the hummas and nachos. We didn't get round to trying the wine from the off licence part but this was a lovely idea. Staff were so friendly. In particular a young lady with dark hair- can't remember her name. Excellent little wine bar/café full of character and ambience beside O’Donovan’s alleyway. I arrived at 9pm absolutely starving. Food had finished serving in hotel next door but staff in Molly’s were highly accommodating Absolutely feasted on the mixed platter

We stopped off here for a drink. Nice place to stop in the sunshine. Tapas available which we might avail of the next time as they looked tasty
