Food The complimentary papadum and sauces were really good, they were in containers taken from table to table. The samosa chaat appetizer was really good, smothered with sauces and chick peas, a repeat order for sure. We ordered the Chicken tikka masala and the Hyderabadi chicken, both medium spicy, both good, well try different entrees next time for variety. Service Surprisingly good tag team service, the duo was quick from everything to seating, water, ordering, and food delivery. Both guys were courteous and prompt, thank you. Location Located in a strip mall in a major road in Winter Park so a convenient location. There is a large parking lot so no issues there. Ambiance Nicely decorated with wall art and a stone wall, smartly appointed. This place is as nice for lunch as it for a date night.

When I manage a trip up north to Orlando I always stop at Tamarind in Winter Park for their lunch specials. The lamb tikka masala is my favorite and the various naan breads are so good! I can not say enough about the delicious flavors that dance on my tongue with each bite!

We have eaten at many Indian restaurants but sadly, this is not one of the best ones. The service was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and the server masked. However,, the menu was smaller than usually found and some of my favorites that one can get everywhere were missing. The food was OK but not as good as I am normally used to. I think that given what we ordered, our meal was somewhat overpriced. We likely won't go back as there are much better places to eat. I know my review is an outlier, but this was our hones opinion.

I have been looking for an authentic Indian restaurant for a while. This is now my go-to-place when I am in Orlando. The dosa was super tasty and the three accompanying dips excellent and very different. The Indian curry I chose was spicy but not overpowering. Attentive service and reasonably priced for the huge portions. I took half back home as it was too good to leave behind.

After reading the reviews, both the extremely positive ones and the few negative ones, we were a little hesitant. Bottom line: we were blown away by the excellent service and the amazing food. We had three different appetizers and three different main courses. Every selection was rated a 10 out of 10 at our table. My absolute favorite was Tomato Coconut Shorba. As well as the food, the service was excellent. Our team leader was Hoky. I can’t say enough good things about the way he assisted us through the menu and made sure, that we had everything we needed throughout the meal.
