Amici Cafe - Cleveland

I recently visited the restaurant for the first time since the ownership changed. It was a refreshing experience. We all enjoyed our meals and I am confident that the new owners will continue to provide excellent service and delicious food.

Tucked away from the usual restaurants on the busy Buchside, there is a spacious new café on Panorama Drive in a small shopping village in Thornlands. This relaxing spot serves up delicious breakfast and lunch options daily. Open for just a few months, this café is run by a friendly man and woman team, with an excellent Italian chef who specializes in pasta dishes. The menu is impressive, offering a variety of choices including gluten-free options. The food is fresh and tasty; I have dined here four times already and have never been disappointed. I highly recommend the fettuccine carbonara, lasagne, risotto chicken amici, Caesar salad, and the savory mince breakfast with poached eggs. The coffee, smoothies, and fancy cakes are also top-notch. There is seating indoors and outdoors, catering services available, and occasional Saturday evening meals. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. Whether you have dietary restrictions or are a picky eater, this café will surely satisfy your cravings. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Visited first time on friday since the change of ownership again. Well it was a pleasant change. We all enjoyed our meals and i'm sure the new owners will do well if they continue with the great service and tasty food.

Hidden away from the usual bayside eatery spots, is a great new café located on Panorama Drive, within a small Thornlands shopping village – a relaxing out of the way place offering delicious foods for breakfast or lunch daily. They have only been open for a few months; a husband and wife team, very friendly service and a really good Italian chef who makes just wonderful pasta dishes. Really good menu offerings with lots of variety; all day breaky dishes as well as many other tasty meals including Gluten free breads and pastas. The food is very fresh and tasty, I have dined here 4 times so far and cannot fault – highly recommend the Fettuccini Carbonara, Lasagne, Risotto Chicken Amici, Caser Salad and the breakfast Savoury Mince with poached egg. The coffee is also very good as well as the smoothies and do try their Banoffee pie from the cake selection – yum! You have a choice of tables settings inside or outside, they also offer catering service and occasional Saturday night dining. Prices are reasonable and offer good value for great home cooked food; their meals will definitely satisfy even the fussiest of diners and those with special diet requirements too. Highly Recommend.

It's not a good sign when the restaurant is nearly empty for breakfast, especially when the nearby cafes are crowded.
