Bidrage med feedbackUnfortunately xo seafood had abruptly closed his doors on new years, but we were not aware of the closure and open table was also unconscious and let us make a reservation for jan 13. we didn't know that the restaurant was closed until we drove to her building and nobody was there. we were left to find a nearby restaurant that could put us. a very bad communication of the owner and his website still does not show that the xo Seafood site is closed (they also operate xo prime steaks).
Had a 9:30 reservation on new years. I understand that new years are an unusual night in which it might be quite busy. immigrated and made great by the girl who had been checked. hostess did not appear for more 5 to 10 minutes. it has not noticed that bare waiting for our table, but it was a terrible experience at the bartender was overwhelmed when she did a lot (orders on tables, clearing tables and not her one job that was a bartender). She has not recognized us for at least 10 to 15 minutes and was very short and rude to answer her. They were said to be shorthanded when people called sick. my answer is a plan. we went after a drink. the drinks to compose would have been a nice gesture (only comped one). could continue. had a great meal on the road. I think they should thank you for throwing us out in the round. do not plan to go back.
The food was good. that was the main quality of our experience at xo. we went in and were immediately ignored by the bartender. When we had set ourselves on our table, we could tell our waiter that we were not thrilled with the bartender. he was quite attentive. the temperature of the restaurant was however a problem for the whole visit. apparently they have a kind of contest with their renter over the heat, which led to a very cool evening meal. the dinner was good, the food was good. otherwise they have to work on this restaurant.
The service was average and somewhat slow. I ordered a French 75 to drink and it was flat to send her back. the keilsalat was overpriced and had a strange taste. I asked if she balsamico vinaigrette and was told why I ordered the salat. it came instead with what seemed to be balsamic vinegar (and not oil). definitiw not worth. but the tuna entree was fantastic! and despite the very slow service the waiter corrected my drink and brought a beautiful glass wein. overall I was disappointed and am uncertain when I return.
Went for NYE. Had already finished with appetizers before drinks even came. There was only 4 of us. Bar was not even crowded. Have no idea why 4 drinks would take that long. When the appetizers showed up and we didn't have drinks yet, it was bad enough. When we finished eating them and still didn't have drinks it's a major problem. Also, I ordered the tomahawk ribeye. Since when did medium rare become raw ?! The inside of this was literally cold. Couldn't even get the knife to cut through it. Sent it back and waited another 15 minutes. It was good but I was eating alone as my other 3 guests had finished their food already. The server seemed baffled by simple questions on the menu too. Maybe it was NYE but it really wasn't crowded so I'm not sure. I'd have to think about returning there.
