The Nauti Mermaid - Cleveland

Wasn’t impressed with our service. Seemed like our small table of people was overlooked by the big spenders in the same room. I thought my meal was good, my girlfriend was a tad bit upset due to her order not being able to be modified for her. Outside of that the noise was to much. I’d say overall it was ok, nothing to rave about. However it was New Year’s Eve.

No one ever greeted us at the door. The sign says seat yourself but once seated the waitress said no one told her new guests had arrived. We waited 10 minutes to see someone. The food was disgusting- greasy and over cooked. The lowest quality of seafood I’ve ever seen. A fast food restaurant would’ve been much better.

Absolutely the slowest service ever. Waited more than an hour for appetizers. No one else in the place! Crazy. No apology given, simply told there was only one cook. With no one else dining you would have thought that sufficient.

Quick service even though the server warned us the kitchen was behind. Almost all seafood derp fried though.

I hate to give rough reviews because I am a local and want these places to succeed. Got there, mentioned reservation, they said they don 't check opentable ' all the time ? . Server was VERY nice. Drinks were generous. Menu looked very good, so we were looking forward to meals. Waited 45 minutes for our appetizers. lobster nachos were good. Waited another nearly 45 minutes for our meals and all were awful. Everything was cold. Almost tasted re-heated. Had an old oil taste and way too heavily breaded and overcooked to the point it was painful to eat it . One in our party got the lobster roll and it was bad too. I can 't quite figure out how/why we had to wait so long and none of our entrees were hot. The place just had a vibe that it was failing. Not good on a Saturday night. Bummer....we had high hopes for this location based on location and the menu. Won 't be back and doubt they will be in business for too much longer
