Bidrage med feedbackI went in with the understanding the restaurant was more Cajun and realized it was more bar food. Tuesday evening, restaurant was pretty dead, ordered a grilled shrimp poor boy, $10 for 6 shrimp on a hoagie bun, lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce. Not what I would call dining success.
We use to love going to this place even though the service is horribly slow. The up side to the slow service was that there was a great local band playing to keep us entertained but then the band quit coming. I have no idea why. Then the food got worse as well so we quit going for quite a while. Recently, after a long hiatus we returned to see if things were better. Sadly, no. In fact it was worse. They switched to a different type of French Fry, have deleted my favorite dessert from the menu completely, upped the prices significantly, lowered the number of selections, were out of my husbands's beer (or maybe quit carrying it? and the service was still horribly slow. It was definitely the last time we will be going.
Came here for the $5 burger on Wednesday. Can’t beat it! Will definitely be back to explore the menu!!
We were looking for good food, a warm atmosphere, and friendly people. We found it all here. The beer is cold, and they have a full bar. John and his family do a good job of masking their guests feel welcome. The wings are fantastic and big, burgers are delicious, onion rings rock, and they make a great steak and steak sandwich. We eat here regularly; it's a slow paced relaxing experience. There are bands on Fri and Sat nights as well. Its a fun spot.
