Hodge's - Cleveland

My man and I enjoyed our meal in hodges. it was nice to eat outside and the service was great!

We had a great experience. The staff went above and beyond to make ou night out with friends a special night!

This restaurant has not kept up with the great foodie scene in Cleveland. We went there for convenience but I would not recommend it given the other options nearby and within a mile or two.

We were surprised to learn that hodges is part of a restaurant group that includes two other really fine restaurants: washington place in little italy and the welshfield inn. we had great meal times at both. now at three. we had to try their hanky pankies a really amazing combination of chorizo, cheddar and cowardly jam on a crostini. after two sides Caesar salads with extra white anchovy we have decided to do apps as entrees. we had the lobster flatbread and the blue crab hushpuppies. we have also enjoyed a completely unnecessary but nevertheless crispy order of dead. the manager at hodges is very dedicated and checked on every table in our case a series of times, because we had some nice discussions about the restaurant, the property and the chef. our server, katie, moved the dinge with a perfect guess. we went to the McCartney concert and didn't want to be late. the restaurant is located on euclid, which has really come to life again last year. the outdoor area is well back from the road, not like the exterior in the east 4th street. the atmosphere was perfect for a summer evening in cleveland. Look at it!

I was treated to dinner for my birthday, but chose the restaurant and made the reservation myself because we had been there before and all enjoyed it. We all enjoyed our meals. it was half-priced wine bottle night wo my husband and I shared a bottle of excellant Fume' Blanc to go with the Salmon dinner. We also had the crab fritters and deviled eggs as appetizers. All were very good. Our Waitress was friendly and accomodating. We did indulge in dessert, mine was the warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream, very yummy. The valet parking was a plus as it was a stormy evening and we were able to get in and out without having to deal with a Summer downpour. Parking was also very resonable.
