Big Mamma's Burritos Gordon Square

Amazing little hole in the wall place! We got our food to eat there. Food had a lot of flavor and the twist of using shredded tater tots for the rice was yummy! Big list of choices on the menu. The only down side, when i say little, i mean little. Not a lot of space but definitely a gem!

Always had a great experience here until the last one. Ordered a Philly Big Momma Melt and it came uncooked/not grilled with just burnt meat, no cheese, and inexplicably a ton of tomatoes. My coworkers melt was just as weird- she got cheese at least but it was just cheese and steak instead of chicken. We requested refunds and were promised them but have not yet, weeks later, received them.

The food is usually ok, but it would be nice if the cashier would take their airpods out when taking and order, or even greet someone when they walk up to the counter. Some staff is great, others clearly don’t want to be there. Hard to justify going here over chipotle, etc when the service/quality isn’t on par.

Filthy kitchen, slow/poor service, burnt meat. Claim they can make a burrito in less than a minute but the worker was so distracted by a television that it took a solid 10 minutes to get 2 burritos.
