Clean, modern and pleasant ambiente and a good selection on the menu. However, the waiting staff was somewhat abrupt (I almost ordered a poor solitary diver to a smaller table from a waiter when he sat on a larger table looking for another waiter) and there was not the friendly customer focus that we used to get used to these days. I had the tagliatelle carbonara, which was excellent. my wife had the tagliatelle fruits de mer, who had not many fruits of the sea in it and kept them awake with sodburn. we wanted to pay money instead of paying us in our room at the ibis next door. we were sent (again, rather abruptly) to the bar that sent us to the hotel that wanted to send us back into the bar. in this day and age, pay money for a restaurant meal should not be hard work. we were surrounded by four employees who were plagued by our bill in French, while we were standing there like stupidies. overall, disappointing, and we wouldn't deny it.

However, the waiting staff were a little abrupt (I saw one poor lone diner virtually ordered to a smaller table by one waiter when he had sat at a larger table at the request of another waiter) and there wasn't the friendly customer focus that we get used to these days. I had the Tagliatelle Carbonara, which was excellent. My wife had the Tagliatelle Fruits de Mer which didn't have many fruits of the sea in it, and kept her awake with heartburn. We wanted to pay cash rather than charge to our room in the Ibis next door. We were sent (again, rather abruptly) to the bar to pay, who sent us to the hotel, who wanted to send us back to the bar. In this day and age, paying cash for a restaurant meal should not be hard work. We ended up surrounded by four staff arguing about our bill in French, while we stood there like dummies. Overall, disappointing, and we would not dine there again.

Awadh has always been a favorite food restaurant and the atmosphere are really great lately, I organized a birthday party for my husband.
