Cristino's Coal Oven Pizza - Clearwater

Food 4/5 enjoyed the Chicken Parmigiano, which was a generous portion, both the pasta and chicken was prepared and tasted great. I would have given 5 stars had it not been served in a bowl with the chicken completely covering the pasta. This might be considered being picky however with such well prepared food it would have been nice to better enjoy them. Service 3/5 as the staff are friendly however there is a bit of a language barrier and it makes for difficult conversations. As far as waiting, a small wait for a large group which is completely acceptable and drinks, apps and entrees were served quickly. Atmosphere 1/5 I did not enjoy the atmosphere, the restaurant is very small and the seating they have feels cramped. The temperature inside was equal to that of outside which isn't enjoyable for enjoying such a fine meal. Parking is limited and tight.

Best pizza in Clearwater! And they also have a great range of delicious pasta dishes, gelato and more. The covered outdoor patio is beautiful, service is fast and friendly, and prices are very reasonable. We love this place!

Hubby and I were looking to enjoy a pizza dinner from a place off the main strip in Clearwater. This came up in my searches so we headed there a few days ago. Good thing we came early and the tiny restaurant was already packed! Many patrons had to sit outside to eat here, in 100 degree heat. We luckily were seated at a table for two inside, as it just opened up before we arrived. Our server, Lani, was friendly and prompt. We split both a Cesar salad and the small margarita pizza. It was enough food for two people. After we finished the pizza, Lani brought us a few samples of their gelato. We were full but the gelato samples were delicious! We highly recommend this restaurant, although if you want to eat inside, arrive early!

We always look forward to go to Cristino’s when visiting the area. We ordered takeout the other day and food did not taste good. Giving 2 stars only for the alright pizza, seafood spaghetti and desserts. Fettucini alfredo and risotto were bland and dry, and so was the chicken. Disappointing!
