Uncle John's Bbq Stand - Claymont

I would give a zero for the disrespect! I called because my food was ice cold as it came our thr refrigerator, and the workers owner (represented himself as John) was rude didn’t offer any accommodations. We ordered thru UberEats and we can see when when it was picked up, so the restaurant can't blame them. My roll, the meat is iced cold; not lukewarm....so who's the blame! They do not ever have worry about my dollar again.

Maybe I caught them on a bad day but while entering the establishment the lil short white was extremely rude and upset cuz they closed at 6 and we got there at 605. The food is great if you’re white and don’t know how to season or cookThe brisket dry the sauce was no help. The sides unfavorable. When paying 40 for a two person meal I shouldn’t have to go home and basically recook and reseason all the food. Highly disappointed. Nothing bbq about the place,,,, I’m white and a chef so not being racist !

I have been to this restaurant before, but trying new dishes always makes it feel like a fresh experience. Today, I decided to try their brisket veggie soup and a pulled brisket sandwich. The brisket in the soup was incredibly tender and practically melted in my mouth. I will definitely order it again in the future. The sandwich was also fantastic, especially with the spicy BBQ pickles and coleslaw. Although I don't usually comment on beverages, the iced tea was also delicious.

My husband and I had a super rough day at work and were looking for a quick dinner option. This place did not disappoint! The food was amazing and the atmosphere allowed us to decompress. Service and food options are great. We have not tried the breakfast options yet but will definitely be back for those.We both had the brisket sandwich.

Fantastic daily menu that frequently rotates. The staff are exceptionally helpful and welcoming. The ambiance in their garage setting is quite trendy, with ample outdoor seating available. We plan on tracking down their food truck as well. While not inexpensive, the taste of the food is excellent. Child-friendly: Plenty of children present, plenty of coloring materials, and music playing. Parking: Ample spots nearby for parking.
