Nice pub with great outdoor area for families a separate area for children which looked great. Plenty of staff behind the bar. All very polite helpful

Had a really nice meal here today, (Lamb Sunday roast followed by spotted dick with ice cream) service was excellent, food great and the manager (I assume) went out of his way to help and accommodate us. Would highly recommend booking as it was very busy but worth while!

I highly recommend the meat rib. I didn’t read the menu carefully and overreacted when I saw the word "rib," so I ordered it with shiny fries instead of mashed potatoes and vegetables. However, that turned out to be a great choice rather than a mistake! It was a bit pricey, but definitely worth it. It might be the best and most expertly prepared piece of meat I have ever had. Plus, the bone kept my super-energetic terrier quiet for the rest of our meal!
