Reserver

Bidrage med feedbackThis is the third time in a row that the hostess staff failed to honor our Open Table reservation. It took an employee reminding them to finally acknowledge our reservation. While the service and food were excellent, the reservation system and hostess staff could use some improvement in terms of accommodation and hospitality.
The food and service was great but open table was wrong!!! Added my name to the wait list but on weekend the restaurant doesn’t do that due to how busy they are!! Said they notified open table yet still allowed me to do it on app! When we arrived I clearly was annoyed but the staff was great and we were told 30 min wait yet we only waited for 10 mins. Food was great and service as well!!!
I used to love Old Chicago, it was one of my favorite places to dine. However, my recent experience was terrible. I had made a reservation through the OpenTable app to avoid waiting, but when we arrived a few minutes early, we were met with attitude and told we might still have to wait. I was fine with waiting until my reservation time, but the staff seemed annoyed. They were rude and made rude comments about honoring reservations. Our waitress was pleasant, but it took over 40 minutes to receive our food. It felt like we were being punished for wanting our reservation honored.
I made an online reservation for this restaurant, only to find out upon arrival that they do not use the online reservation system. No explanation was given and no alternative was offered. We waited for over 40 minutes, but decided to leave as the wait was too long. I do not plan on returning to this restaurant in the future.
Dont bother making an open table reservation. We made one online and when we checked in they said it would take a few minutes. Granted it was busy, but we had a reservation for 515, got there at 515, and didn't get seated until 545. Ordered almost immediately, took about 10 minutes, but then didn't get our food until 640. Again, I understand it's a busy night but damned, a little communication goes a long way
