El Grullo Express - Clarksville

The best Mexican food in Clarksville hands down. Would be nice to add a walk up window though.

$12 for menudo and this is what I come home with and it doesn’t even taste like menudo it taste like tomato juice. Worst menudo I’ve had all around and a rip off considering there was only about a cup of meat in the whole container the rest of it was big bones and fat. Really surprised this place has the rating it does. Wouldn’t recommend.

Drive thru only and outside picnic tables. However, the Morjarra-Frita is muy bueno.

I’ve been coming here twice a month (sometimes more) since October of 2021. Without fail, the Queso they sell always comes wrapped in a Walmart bag, and has spilled inside the bag. It’s very hard to enjoy your food, when you have to scrape it off the styrofoam containers first. It isn’t the end of the world, I just wish this place would take better care knowing the issues that could have happened. Their food is always good. But they lack care in the CARE department.

I understand why the drive through has a line that extends into 41A. I had 3 chicken tacos with flour tortilla and they were good. I will return again.
