Was in town for the Juke Joint Festival this April and while we went around, we went out the chef with his huge wood fired grill. Barbecue and Blues are what Clarksdale is about. The bistro may not look so much, but it is clean and you cannot go wrong with any of the food choices. We saw ribs and rib tips. The cook would not divulge the secret ingredients in the baked beans, but I never had anything like them. Portions were large and the prices were particularly appropriate in the middle of a festival. You have an extensive menu and indoor and outdoor dining, weather permit.
They sell themselves fast. Get her if you can. The ribs are also good. But the tips are a real treat.
Rub well dry and sauce. There are outdoor seats on a beautiful day directly in the middle of the action in downtown clarksdale
My sister, mom and I stopped in during our road trip through Clarksdale. The owner was extremely friendly and the food was delicious; the best pulled pork I’ve ever had. We all enjoyed our meals which included the black bean burger, cabbage and sausage side dish, corn bread, fries, chicken tenders and the pulled pork sandwich.
