Humbert House - Clarence

We had our girl’s get-together dinner on a Wednesday night to try on the Italian dinner menu. We ordered Italian bread, Olives and Cheese as our shared appetizers. I ordered Caesar Salad and Veal Picatta for dinner. Everything was just so delicious! My Poison Apple cocktail was a bit too strong but still very flavorful. The restaurant is nice and cozy, casually elegant. The service was excellent and I did enjoy the live music at the bar. I truly enjoyed my experience and look forward to trying different menu items.

NOT WORTH IT! This place looks great from the outside.Inside, there is limited seating inside for dining, and everyone is packed in like sardines, which is what the sea bass tastes like. (Might be offensive to the sardines) My wife and I went here for date night, and we were really disappointed. We tried to order multiple things on the menu and were told they were sold out of them, so we had to settle for something different. My wife ordered the sea bass, after her first two options weren't available. After waiting an hour for the food, It tasted like the smell of an aquarium, it was gross. There was a lady sitting next to us, who complained for the same reason as well. The food was taken off the bill, but nothing was done to make it right. We went home and had to cook dinner ourselves.

First time-last time...don't waste your money or your time...so disappointed, and angry over the experience. Food... filet over-cooked and tiny, lobster Mac and cheese was watery and bland. Food took forever, portions small, overpriced. Sat in room adjacent to kitchen, and door was left open a few times...saw flies flying around, and saw an opening that led to garage where I saw parked cars right outside the kitchen. Two people walked out of kitchen and were dressed in sloppy, ragged clothing and were unkempt. We're these the chefs????Also table sat next to us had 2 small children, one was throwing toys, the other in a high chair had a soiled diaper and smelled of feces and was adjacent to me, so immediately stopped eating as the smell ruined my appetite.

Amazing service and exceptional food, a little close to other tables, but they have to make due with the space/layout they have.
