So, let's talk about chips. That's the thing. Everyone enjoys chips, right? Well, at least I think most people do. Some may prefer a salad or smashed avocado on sourdough toast with a poached egg, garnished with chili flakes and a small spread of locally sourced artisanal margarine. Is "spread" the right word? I mean, you do spread it across the bread or whatever it is you're putting it on. Maybe you would call it a dollop of yellow hydrogenated vegetable oil based spread. I recall someone once told me that to make a cat feel comfortable in a new house, you should place a dollop of butter on its front paws and by the time it licks them clean, it will be happy in its new environment. Maybe it's true. Maybe the cat is simply content wherever it's warm and butter is abundant. Either way, it's advice I try to live by. I don't think the same could be said for hydrogenated vegetable oil, but maybe my cat isn't sophisticated enough. One thing is for certain, he certainly enjoys chips.

This family-owned restaurant serves traditional fish and chips. The curry sauce and cheese and chips were delicious, especially the secret family recipe curry sauce.

This takeout restaurant is legendary with excellent food and service. It is top-notch for a chip shop.
