Cafe X2o, Claremont

Ordered online on a Friday night. Order confirmed. Went to pick up order and all the lights were off, doors locked and no one inside. Hours say they are open until 9. Came to pick up at 8:30. Absolutely ridiculous. Money debited from account. Now need to call door dash to receive my money back. Never coming back or ordering from them again.In response to your reply: my husband and I were in the area when we ordered online. We were at a next door restaurant having a drink while waiting for order to be ready. No other business or restaurant had lost power. When we walked up, everyone had power. The only business with the lights off was your establishment. When walking back to the car, we saw a server out on your patio so my husband asked him about the order. All he said was “it should have been canceled.” No mention of power outage or anything.

I have been satisfied with the flavor every time.Price 3/5The prices here are quite a bit higher than in other Mediterranean restaurants, and I'm not entirely sure if the quality of the product is up to that price. Quality 3/5When I called ahead, I was told that the ingredients were organic. However, the fruit on display and the ingredients visible from the outside are not organic, so I'm not sure what to think about tha. Also, the cooking oil is unknown, and the meat is not listed as ethically sourced. Service 2/5I feel bad knocking points off a restaurant for service because I have worked in a restaurant before, and I know that it's a hard job. However, the past three times I have been here, it has felt like my requests and presence have been inconvenient.Ambiance: smart-casual, urban, Mediterranean.

Food is always great. Tasty,fresh and well presented. Service is always great. I always have the chicken kebab plate. The only thing is wish it that they would serve the fluffy pita bread instead of the thin

A spontaneous lunch on a Thursday and what a treat! As a visitor from Europe I was impressed with the variety and authentic dishes on offer at this lovely restaurant. The service was great from the moment we arrived. The food was excellent, tasty, well presented, full of flavour and bright fresh ingredients and brought to our table very quickly too. I would go to this restaurant just for the garlic fries and the special secret garlic sauce!! I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the prices too because they were more than reasonable ! I will be returning to this lovely little slice of the Mediterranean!Vegetarian options: Plenty to choose from for veggie optionsDietary restrictions: We had gluten free and dairy free restrictions at our table and both were accommodated easily

I’m really upset, why hmmm ? not because of the food because of the five stars, I really wish I can give them 10 stars great Staff I highly recommend the chicken is very juicy and well marinated. I love the rice and the salad is on point
