Lucky's Smoke House Bbq - Clancy

Worst excuse for BBQ I've EVER had. Watery, cold and bland I even gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back for a second try, the slab of pork ribs were damn near meatless and slightly above jerky in texture. Save your money, go to Walmart and buy a frozen platter of Great Value BBQ it's much better.

I should have read the reviews on Yelp before going. Just to keep it short. This is not the place to go to watch any sports game. The prices are a lot on the high side for what you get. we paid $28 for two adult meals and a grilled cheese for the little one. The menu on Sundays is extremely limited, it contained golden hot dogs(must be because of the price) and burgers. The two burgers we had were nothing special and the side of fries was minimal. My daughters Grilled cheese was great though! Service was decent. The fountain pop tasted like straight butt! I let them know and they were surprised? I did get to try their BBQ sauces and like the burgers they left a lot to be desired. I'll go elsewhere for a meal.

My first trip to Lucky's BBQ was not so lucky. I tried to order the bi-meat platter but they were out of brisket. What BBQ place is out of brisket??!! So I ordered the pulled pork and pulled chicken. When my order was brought out, I had pulled pork and chicken wings. So I pointed out I ordered the pulled chicken and would prefer that instead of the wings. The server went to correct the order but came back and said that the pulled chicken was not ready yet. At that point I gave up. Both plates of food, one for my husband and one for myself, were barely warm. All meats appeared to be black, probably from over cooking or over warming. My husband ordered beer on tap, and I ordered a Sweet Betsy which was delish. The liquor pricing was very good. However, $18.99 for each dinner plate was really over priced for what we got. Not impressed, will not be back. Seriously disappointed with the lack of good BBQ in and around Helena, MT.

Love supporting local... The food was far from amazing, but I had a decent experience both times...

Decided to try this place one more time. The first everything was ice cold. This time the bathroom had no hand soap or paper. They said were out of salad and when we ordered our drinks they forgot we ordered them and we had to go to the bar to get them. My wife had the smoked chicken it was very dry. Tried to use the house made BBQ sauces they make but they all tasted watered down. I had the brisket and pulled pork platter. Both were over cooked, as we're the fries. I boxed the meat up and brought it home hoping the Famous Dave's sauce I have will make it taste better. Have friends who day this place is good but I don't see why. I have been to several BBQ places and this is the worst.
