Bidrage med feedbackPicked staying in this town rather than Arezzo because of its location on hilltop. village is amazingly scenic, and we were pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant open in town after a long day’s drive. started with appetizer of local goat cheeses, and the eggplant ravioli and a beef stew over potatoes. Both were delicious. As other couples joined us, the service was good and when we asked for the check it was brought promptly. Considering 10 days touring, Food here was one of the better meals we had and I thought it was reasonably priced.
We enjoyed dinner at the Enoteca. The food was delicious Tuscan family-style and the wine list was amazing. The hosts clearly love wine and we very much enjoyed discussing our options for dinner. Our host also took the time to connect us with a local winery, Tunia, and arrange for us to stop there for a delightful tasting.
Located in a small town on a hill, Il Vicolo serves great and delicious food for a fair price! The service was good (they even took the time to email me the cheeses that we ate). On top of that, Mirko (brother of Leonardo, the chef) is a sommelier so be sure to ask for his recommendations.
