Bidrage med feedbackI'm always looking for a nice brunch café. And this place is now on my list. I ordered four different cakes and all were fantastic with coffee. One thing I need to remember is that they are not open on Monday. I'll be back soon.
Had a Sunday brunch with My Hubby The Croissant Salmon Sandwich was totally crazy
This bakery and cafe is a real jewel in Panama City. The man and women's team are graduates of the Culinary Institute of America, and they apply the techniques and experiences they learned there to create the most beautiful versions of local specialties such as mamallena bread pudding and tres leches cake. When I took friends there, they said that this is nothing like the bread pudding I grew up. In Miranda they bake their own crumbs to be cooked in a delicious custard and then baked with their homemade chocolate sauce. But it doesn't stop there. They also make the most wonderful kouign amanns, sour bread and croissants you think you are waiting in a long line in mission in San Francisco to have them. The dark horse of this place is actually neither sweets nor bread, but its burgers. They are the most juicy, freshest beef patente and made with high quality cheese, bacon, eggs, vegetables on a sewn Parker House role in the house. The grilled cheese on sourdough bread with tomato sauce is also a good alternative. Yes, these are all deceased daily items, but if you fall from the car, you can also do this with the highest quality ingredients in a charming environment. *I checked this for 5 stars because I understand that there are few in terms of bakeries that are in Miranda's quality in Panama and beyond.
Really great little cafe in the San Francisco neighborhood in Panamá City. We ordered the pastrami sandwich and grilled cheese for lunch. Both sandwiches were delicious as pastrami and bread are made in the house. I liked the pastrami better than the grilled cheese, but I didn't like the rye bread. I'm not a huge rye fan, so I'd probably ask and see if they can submit it next time. For dessert we had a passion fruit merengue pie with an icy latte and passion fruit juice. Coffee is brilliant, they get it from Boquete. The tar was good, but I wish there was more of a passion fruit taste with a little less compassion. But the duo that owns this place makes a fantastic job. It's a cool place to eat and coffee.
Our server Irving Beitia was very generous and made our first time being there very special.
