Bidrage med feedbackI had the pastel del día (sort of shepherd pie) and it was abundant and yummy. They craft their own beers and cater a number of other Argentinian beers. I loved their red beer and spent a nice evening there. The place is closed on Wednesdays. One main dishes is around USD 13, a pint of their beer is about USD 5. There is a USD 1+ service charge per person.
What a breathtaking space. Clean, fresh and welcoming farm for balmy in the evening enjoy a beer. We didn't eat, but that looked delicious. If you are insecure to order the delicious beers, you will get a generous taste to help you. Service was friendly and efficient. Love this place.
I'm not sure if this place still exists because it has been awhile since our visit. Can't remember much about the food so it shouldn't have been good or bad. What I know was a very rude exchange, while the owner (or perhaps he was just an employee) took our order. My husband ordered a beer, a child got juice, and the other child and I had both our reusable water bottles and said we would drink our own water. The guy actually tortured us for our own water and told us next time we can't bring them in. I was livid and should have just left, but we were too hungry at this point. I couldn't believe it. Here we were in PATAGONIA, where ecotourism is so important for the local economy, and this person has brought us to buy plastic water bottles. It was disappointing. He clearly did not understand that with our water bottles we actually did something positive for its local environment. We returned to Estacion the next day and wished we had all our dinners there.
We should have taken note of the recent review that stuffed this place. But based on the previous reviews, we really wanted to love it. So we went. The IPA was worth a solid effort and tasting. This is the only reason why this rating is two stars instead of one. I ordered a pizza, and it was literally not better than I could have come from a gas station. The crust was a busy-bought, with tasteless sauce, an overweight of not very beautiful cheese, and a chip of dried oregano. My husband got a burger that should never be served. It was so overcooked that it was burned. The only okay food we received was the French Pommes.
After all the good reviews we came to eat in Guanacos. The menu has changed. The only main courses were burgers, pizza and Milanese. We had burgers and a beer. The burger was terrible. No green, no sauce, a very burned dry beef. Of three dressed beers they had only two (the one who was missing was the IPA we wanted).
