Bidrage med feedbackWe went to Lai Lai last weekend on a recommendation, The food was good and tasty, but the service took forever! The smell in the place was quite strong. I was afraid my clothes and hair would stink afterwards... but maybe it´s just me, I have a very sensitive nose.
Went to Lai Lai for lunch with my family. We waited 20 minutes for someone to take our order. After requesting service twice (to no avail) we decided to leave. The employees did not seem to mind that they lost customers. We also noticed that another table of four walked out without being served. I suggest you try one of the many other Asian restaurants in Barrio Chino that serve the same quality of mediocre food.
Nice cosy place in Belgrano. Food was great. We ordered dumplings, spring rolls, shrimps chow main, and beef chop suei. All the dishes were abundant and very tasty. Very affordable prices.
I moved to Buenos Aires from Florida, and love Chinese food. So finally decided to try Chinese food in Buenos Aires. On a Monday not all places are open in Barrio Chino so was little option and went with Lai Lai. The place is great for a regular Chinese meal, very similar with ones I used to have lunch in Florida. It's not fancy but food was pretty much what I supposed it will be for this sort of place. Waiter was pretty nice, well keep in mind that in Buenos Aires the service is not so fast like US at least. ( after few months here I got used to it). Will definitely recommend for lunch while walking around Barrio Chino
It's difficult to eat a good Chinese food in Buenos Aires. The fried rice at Lai Lai is good. All the traditional Chinese food is ok. Located in the Barrio Chino, the Chinese neighborhood, it's a small restaurant with good food. Good prices, family operated.
