The new menu is not as good as the old one. We had salmon and the only sides served with it were coleslaw and a piece of white bread. Very disappointing. We had to order sides $5 and $6 each and the used to be included. No corn muffins either. They have priced themselves out of the average person’s budget.

I can’t really share a review of the food because I called the night before to confirm that I did not need a reservation for lunch and that I would be there around one or 1:15 in the afternoon on Friday and the guy I talk to you on the phone said a reservation was not necessary that it should be no problem to get right in. So we drove all the way to Clarkston from Taylorand they didn’t open till 4 PM on Friday. So I don’t know how the guy that worked. There didn’t know that, but we made a very long trip for no reason.

Food is tasty, but the service is terrible. The last four times we've been to one of the Union Joints, they messed up our order and showed no willingness to make up for this. This most recent time, they didn't give us all of the food in our order. They told me that they would put the money back on my credit card, but it never happened.

I'm quite disappointed they eliminated some of their best menu items. Also, based on our last visit, it seems like they are cutting corners on the quality of their food. My family has been coming here for at least 10 years, so its downfall is disheartening. However, the servers do a great job.

Highly recommend. Burn ends app and collared greens are a must.
