Pomodoro Pizza - City of New York

Ran into this place on accident gladly I did! Would definitely return for multiple reasons. I got a regular cheese as a rule of thumb for always trying a new location. A solid slice all around. Love the well done bottom as well as the crisp flavor of cheese. The other slice I bought was the vodka square. This one wasn't to my liking. What I disliked most other than the taste was the sesame seed bottom. Too much for me I'm sorry. The reasons why I said I'd gladly comeback were to try the Canolis mainly. I'd also like to give some specialty slices a try.

Excellent pizza. I had the Buffalo chicken and the cheese and they are both really good. The red sauce on the cheese was perfect and the crust had the right crunch to chew ratio. We also had cannolis, one classic and one tiramisu. They were also very tasty. Definitely try this place out if you?re in the area.

Delicious pizza! Stopped by for a quick lunch order and ordered a pepperoni square slice and an upside down slice. Both slices were great! Service was fast, efficient and attentive. Ample seating if you plan on dining in for lunch or a business meeting. Definitely recommended!

Clean, fast, great! The pizza is great! One of the best NY style cheese slices I had! The place is super clean, which you not always expect from a slice pizza shop. Totally recommended!

Nice cozy spot in downtown Manhattan. Price is a little up there, but you gotta expect that for anywhere in financial district. I ordered a half and half lemonade Joe tea and 1 slice, came to almost 10bucks. They didn't have a million choices like other places, which is good. Love that they have a small menu that way they can focus on making a few excellent menu items. I got a margherita slice, the crust was a little too thin for my taste, it did not hold the toppingslike it should, and the slice almost crumbled before I finished it. The slice ???? was amazing regardless of the crust being too thin and soft. The flavor was right and strong. Margherita had white cheese (it wasn't mozzarella, looked likefresco cheese) the marinara sauce was good, and the pesto was what made this slice amazing. The place was a bit busy but the tables were properly distributed to maximize capacity. I would highly recommend this place for r a quick biteirregardless of the price. You won't regret it due to the flavor. The staff was friendly, I did not have much interaction with them, but their expression made them friendly. Unlike other places where you see the employees grumpy andunwelcoming.
