Bricolage - City of New York

The flavors taste more Chinese than Vietnamese which wasnt the style of Vietnamese food I was looking for. The broccoli was undercooked and very tough. The pickled carrots and daikon didnt have the classic vietnamese pickled flavor I was looking for they were kind of bland. This was our second time ordering the pho we ordered the first time was also bland and lacking the potency of vietnamese flavor we expected. The coffee was good. Overall the food is edible, but if youre looking for pure authentic vietnamese flavor, this place probably isnt it.

The Maple Glazed Duck Breast is amazing. I only got two bites of the duck. Next time I am not sharing! The Hawker Broad Noodles were good! The combination of flavors is nice.

Ordered the Maple Glazed Duck Breast. Based on the photo, thought it would come with enough puree, but barely came with a couple of tablespoons worth and too much radicchio. The duck itself was alright but dont think Ill order this again.

Beautiful place, with many many details that make for a really cozy and nice experience. The service was excellent. I won’t rate it 5 stars cause the appetizers were a bit disappointing. The chicken wings I would not order again, there are better ones out there. The duck, though, was so good! And the molten chocolate cake too. Will definitely be coming back cause the menu looked great!

Food and drinks were delicious and reasonably priced. Service was good and easy. There 5 of us seated outside in the covered space. It POURED for a about half the time we were there and not a leak in sight. Very sturdy construction.Can’t comment on the interior space though. Didn’t go inside.Will be back!*I réserve 5 Stars for the MOST exceptional experiences*
