Wasabi Victoria Station

I have been visiting this place since 2004 when they were so small. Since last 3-4 years it has been going down quality wise and now hygienically also terrible.

This branch always used to be great with delicious food, but not today. The hot food looked stale and old with a skin over it. We bought the katsui noodles and they were disgusting, dry, old and almost inedible. The service wasn't great either. Won't be eating there again... yuk

Can get busy at times but is a great spot to grab lunch, especially if you work in the area, as I did. If you miss the lunch rush and take a late one its usually quiet.

Ordered a Katsu curry and found the fried chicken fillets were rock solid. Clearly these had been cooked up in the morning and left to sit in a high temperature all day because I could barely make a dent in it with the knife and fork provided. The chicken was so dried out and hard that inside the expected white meat was instead a stringy, translucent colour. Completely inedible and pretty disgusting that they are selling food that's way, way beyond the point where it should be discarded. I'll be contacting Wasabi for a full refund. Avoid.

Have to pay extra to sit in with sushi which they don't tell you until you get to the counter. Sushi was average. Good for convenience
