The Gate Grill House

We have had breakfast at this restaurant three times! The food was delicious, and the staff is amazing and extremely friendly. I tried black pudding for the first time and it was great. We were in London for only 6 days, and this was definitely my favorite place to eat.

Hello everyone, I'm not sure if anyone else has been working there for 20 years, but I always used to come to this place when I was studying at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Looking at the photos, it seems like they still serve the same hearty English breakfast as they did back then! Are you still working there, Sue? Do you remember me from Cincinnati, Ohio?

The restaurant staff were very welcoming and the menu had a nice variety of options. I ordered a delicious mushroom omelet with hash browns and a cup of tea, which was perfect. This place is a fantastic choice for breakfast. Note: Highly recommend.

Recently visited a couple of times whilst visiting London. Good to see that they have survived lock down and still offer great breakfasts at excellent prices. If you are looking for a no nonsense fried breakfast with a mug of tea it is well worth a visit!!
