Rose And Crown Pub

The bar stuff were lovely and the drinks were fine. Apart from that we had a pretty miserable time. Us (couple and our 4 elderly parents) arrived to find that our table of 6 we confirmed weeks prior hadn’t been reserved and the place was full. Manager kept saying he’d get to me then proceeded to ignore me for the next 45 minutes. They’d forgotten to put a reserved sign on our table, other people were sat there and they weren’t going to ask them to move. We ended up sat and stood in a corner on stools we just got from other tables unacceptable as we deliberately reserved because of my parents struggling to stand. On top of that of 3 toilets upstairs only one of the doors locked and that one toilet was flooded. All of this would be fine if we got an apology. We didn’t. Don’t recommend.

The staff was incredible, the food was outstanding, and I will always remember that evening. Oh, what a night!

We visited the Rose and Crown on a Saturday at lunch time. Even the pub was very busy we didn't have to wait long for service at the bar. The staff was friendly and super efficient. Great atmosphere, good music, cold beers and a cozy corner table to relax. I will definitely come back to have some food as well as the menu looks great.

The service at this pub is excellent. The staff, particularly Cloe, is attentive, well-informed, and truly invested in making sure you have a wonderful experience.
