Prezzo Victoria

We visited for a lunch time meal.When the waitress bought the food along she neglected to say the dish it was in was very hot. It had come directly from the oven. When I moved it I burnt my fingers. I asked the waiter who spoke poor English for a burn cream from their first aid kit. He went to find it and some time later came to say they didn’t have any. I was unimpressed and asked to see the manager. She came over and I repeated my request. She looked and couldn’t find any burns cream. Then she decided their company policy was not to supply any first aid creams. This is fine if this is their policy but why did they not tell us immediately do they not know their own policy.I insisted they keep a record of the accident and they agreed. I never saw what they wrote.I supplied my email address as I wanted them to contact me. Several weeks later I have heard nothing no apology and no expressions of concern.Quite clearly this is a restaurant who cares nothing if they cause an injury to their customers. Such a lack of basic care.

Waitress was very unfriendly, food was average. The starters arrived before our drinks had arrived. The average food was the kind you can expect from any Italian chain restaurant.

Victoria Place is a large shopping and eating area accessed by escalators above Victoria station. There are several restaurants there and despite being enclosed Prezzos was not too crowded and the service was fast and friendly. We ate there before seeing Hamilton at the Victoria Palace theatre. We pais £11.95 for a good tasting large Chicken and Bacon salad, £7.00 for a large glass of Shiraz and £2.95 for a cappuccino. Good food, good service and it worked for us!

The staff were atrocious I asked for a straw twice which never came. Was not offered Parmesan I asked but also never came. Waiter said I couldn’t cancel my order as already cooked but took such a long time after this to actually arrive. Worst experience yet will not be visiting any prezzo anytime soon. Also large garlic goats cheese pizza bread is non existent. The portion is tiny and very dry. Friends has calzone which was very dry small portions and very little sauce inside as well as bland. Highly disappointed!!

Had a marvelous meal brilliant service here,had been to the Prezzo marble arch previously was an awful experience ,but can definitely recommend the service the meal at Victoria place shopping centre , the waiter Niccolo was amazing
