Mayflower - City of London,Westminster

I have been a customer of this restaurant for almost 10 years and always order the same thing. Recently, I believe there may have been a change in ownership as my order was completely wrong and when I tried to discuss it, they argued with me. Additionally, it took 1 hour and 15 minutes for my delivery to arrive. Due to these issues, I will not be ordering from them again.

I placed my order at 12 when all the other restaurants were closed, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Despite being busy, the delivery only took 45 minutes, and it was definitely worth the wait.

I recently ordered Chinese food from this restaurant and it was by far the most disappointing meal I have ever had. The food was cold, the spare ribs were all fat, the chicken dish was more like a gelatinous substance that was difficult to cut, and the chicken balls were soggy. Needless to say, we ended up throwing everything away and now feel unwell. To top it off, the prices were higher than average. Save your money and stay away from this terrible place.

Order eating late in the evening due to the good reviews on hungry house. it was shipped within 20 minutes and delivered 10 minutes later. an hour after this, which was and went on delivery time and the restaurant did not answer my...Calls, no matter how often I tried to find out what was going on. ends up ordering from elsewhere, as there is no sign of food and could not contact with the restaurant, nor could starving house. over 3 hours (and a meal from other places that had been ordered and delivered during this time) later the food arrived (after 2.30 a.m.), without apologising or reason for the delay, unnecessarily to say.

We ordered a takeaway and found that while the dishes were good, they weren't great. Satay sauce wasn't as thick as I like and did not have a strong peanut flavour. The Singapore noodles are supposed to have some heat to them but these were...quite bland. The mixed fried rice was also very plain and lacked flavour. The honey garlic chicken was okay. We were starving and ate the lot but as we are new to the area, we will probably try a different restaurant for our Chinese/Thai takeaway next time.
