Eat Tokyo - City of London,Westminster

Went with a friend for lunch. I had the beef bento box. The beef was full of grizzle and fat and not very nice. The place is cheap for a reason. I couldn't spot a single Japanese staff. The staff looked Indian and were not anything like as good at service as a good Japanese restaurant. Won't be going back.

Let's be clear, this is not the finest sushi in town.But, the extensive menu is very good value by today's standards.For example, the sushi bento box at £20 contains acceptable tempura vegetables, chirashi,sushi and sashimi.Its a bustling place because it is good value and the service is brisk rather than doting.Pay more if you want fine dining.This place is a good introduction to Japanese food.

We have been Sunday night here at Eat Tokyo, and the night started really well, food was amazing I just want to make sure that, but the one star is because our waitress “BARBIE” was extremely rude to us from the first moment, when she came to the table to ask if we were ready and we were not, she roll her eyes on us, and aggressively said “you got to order now because is last order” than my friend unfortunately drop her drink on table and when she ask for another one she ‘s been literally told “You gonna pay for it because it’s your fault and not us”. I mean.. what waiter would ever speak like this to the guest? I work in hospitality too, and that s far away from every concept, we did not felt welcome, everything was good but this waitress was so rude that actually put everybody on a bad mood. And it s a shame because the food is banging.

Absolutely beautiful. Servings where grand. Atmosphere was nice. Very good Japanese food. Generous servings. I enjoyed thoroughly :

Seems like they're desperare for employees that they hire anyone from what it seems. The staff had terrible attitudes. We were desperately searching for any instance of good customer service but was not met with any. Please use the 12.5% service charge you add to everyone's bills to train your staff properly.
