Vale Hotel - City of Knox

After a disappointing service in the last month, our last visits were excellent with great quality eating and service, meals to standard, served both hot and in good amount, with roasts, chicken parma, and barramundi as a supplement. great value for renter meals.

2 ordered meals were spicy chicken wings and calamari. the wings were strongly covered with very burnt thick teig and were unpleasant. the calamari was only warm, somewhat gum-like and tasteless. that is the worst meal we have in a very long time. time had to regularly visit the restaurant and will not be reordered.

With just one take on an okkka, where the senior beer battered fish was 80% burned teig, fish uncooked inside, and the roast beef was a bit hard and chewing, all other meal times we have experienced were excellent cooked, served hot and accompanied by...well cooked fresh vegetables/chips.

After a hankering for some fried foods, the buttermilk ordered fried chickenburgers. to our shand was a grilled chicken breast (grill marks visible). the serving of something sauce/majo on the side could also be beautiful. the chips were well cooked and rooms for...kids kiran

Visited with family and found the Vale to be just perfect for al lof us. Great service, great steak and played the pokies which was some. Will be back soon upon my next trip to Melbourne
