Best bartender Ma Best drink master blaster Best tunes oldies jukebox This place is a staple of Geneva and for HWS Colleges. The Hobart Men 's Hockey Team treated this as a second home and treated Ma as their own. Cannot say how impactful this place is on the area.

I went to Hobart for 4 years and this place helped to shelter me for 2 of them. Sideshow is run by Ma and Gary. They also have a great supporting cast Kim and ashley in particular. The beer is cold, the music in the juke box dosen 't pass 1980 and everyone who comes to the show is a die hard fan of the place. personally it became a home away from home for myself and a number of my friends. A great college bar but just keep in mind that if you 're under 21 Ma has a super soaker ready to encourage you to leave. not kidding.

Honestly, the bartender is my mother. Love this place. Never gotten so much fun in one place. We went every night for 3 months and ma loved it. She's so silly

Still love this place after all these years!! I was a regular at this bar for 4 years while at college recently went back for the wine tour of Seneca lake and stopped in with a few people to reminisce. Ma is still at her best! and the prices haven't changed in 25 years!! 8 shots 3 mixed drinks and 2 beers $14.00 No seriously $14.00 Love this place!!!!!

Any review that says Ma sprays people who are 21+ with legal IDs is totally false. Ma's my grandmother and I've worked at Side Show almost every night that we've been open since summer 2017, and she would NEVER (and didn't) spray anyone unless they were being RUDE, didn't show an ID/showed an expired ID, or 100%, without a doubt, were not of legal drinking age. If you're 21+ with a legal ID and got sprayed, that means she told you to fix your attitude and you didn't. Ma doesn't tolerate a holes, but she would NEVER humiliate anyone who didn't have it coming to them. Not to mention, she doesn't swear and chides others for doing so. Ma is loved deeply by all of her friends in and out of town, and is the most kicka old lady you'll ever meet. Cheapest drinks around, too.
