Bidrage med feedbackThis place makes some of the best, most original burgers and fries in the capital area. The staff are friendly and the food is cooked to your liking fairly quick. The only downside I can see is the parking there is no lot, it's all on street which makes it difficult to find parking during hours where you'd typically grab a burger.
After eating at Crave I was speachless. They have so many different types of burgers, there is really something for everyone. We read reviews about Crave and just had to go there when in Albany. The reviews are true. The burgers are cooked to perfection. The fries are as good as the burgers and not just a side dish or an after thought. You may be tempted to only eat the fries as your meal because they are that good with the toppings. But don't skip the burgers. The owners are pure geniuses for creating this place and even greater geniuses for putting it near a college campus. I don't indulge in burgers often but when I do get to indulge, I don't want to regret it. No regrets with Crave. They have contributed to my food happiness and will contribute to yours.
Super nice staff and great burgers and fries. I tried their chopped salad, which was disappointing. Iceberg lettuce, tomato and pickled onions were not in their best condition, but the few avocado pieces you get were good. Grilled chicken wasn't good either. I avoided the ranch and would have appreciated some vinaigrette dressing but they do not have any.
My boyfriend and I were craving burgers for a while now and while he suggested Burger King, I told him, “Let’s try something new!!!” First of all, the location for the restaurant is pretty quiet and felt almost like a hole in the wall. As a chef, I personally loved the concept of the menu. They had so many unique options to their fries and burgers! Flavor profiles you never see around here unless you go to a semi-formal restaurant. Not to mention, they have a whole wall of froyo options! I wish they had milkshakes to top the meal off though. The burgers were a decent size (they are not shy about their patty size either) the same with the sides. Everything was seasoned really well! (Some tend to be a little salty though) I chose to come here bc i read from a magazine somewhere that they had the best fries. Everything was worth the price.
Absolutely fantastic! The flavor was outstanding, and the dish came with a side of soup, just in case you wanted to drizzle more over the sandwich. I also loved the fried chicken sandwich. Although the location is in a tough neighborhood, it's definitely worth the trip, and there’s plenty of street parking available. I highly recommend this burger joint to anyone visiting Albany!
