We had Sunday lunch, the fish, cod, was good and the starters were also fine however the main course of pork belly wasn’t great: the pork was dry, the roast potatoes, stuffing and Yorkshire pudding were over-roasted and tough. The staff had a lovely greeting when we arrived. There was a mix up with drinks and the driver of our party ended up with a gin Martini with soda water which wasn't ordered, it shouldn't have had gin in it. The non driver had tonic water. We were given another gin martini.. But it was still all wrong.... We ordered the Sunday roast. Pork was nice but no apple sauce and the beef was hard to cut and chew. The selection of food was lovely, but raw garlic through the greens was a bit much for my party... Sorry ... Alot of mistakes I think which let the place down ...
