Bidrage med feedbackI was dying for a 'real ' turkey sandwich and happened upon this gem in the neighborhood where I grew up. The sliced turkey was so moist and flavorful that I dont think I 'll want turkey any other way. The bread was toasted to perfection with a wonderful chew. I topped mine with pickled onions. This was a masterfully elevated sandwich. I also got a side of the potato salad. Wonderfully fresh dill and a perfect mayonnaise ratio. A gourmet meal at a great price point. Thoroughly satisfied
Unique variety of food to choose from. Especially if you are a pork lover. Try out the pork burger or chicken salad sandwich with some kimchi. Enjoy !
Beautiful little gem of a place. We loved the kimchi buffalo wings, pork burger with kimchi (delightfully bright and salty with a perfect, warming heat), and the pickled carrot salad. And we will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.
I recently discovered the Pickled Pig, a restaurant near my workplace in Walnut Hill, and decided to give it a try. As a fan of BBQ and pickled foods, I was excited to see what they had to offer. The pickled dishes at this establishment are fantastic! The kimchi, sauerkraut, and pickles I sampled were all incredibly delicious. In fact, the kimchi here is the best I've ever had. I also tried some of their sandwiches, which were very tasty albeit a bit messy - but definitely worth it. The staff and owner were extremely friendly and accommodating. They took the time to answer my questions and provide exceptional service. I will definitely be returning soon, as I am running low on kimchi!
I recently ordered food from this restaurant and it was delicious! The interior was charming and I wish I had been able to dine in instead of opting for takeout. The staff was friendly when I placed my order and my food was ready on time. I tried the smoked turkey sandwich and black bean soup, both of which were excellent. However, there are a few areas where I believe they could improve. I think they should offer a better combo or mix and match option for soup, salad, and sandwiches on their menu. I would frequent this restaurant more often if I could get two items for $10 or less. Spending $16 on a sandwich and soup was a bit of a splurge for me, so I may not make this one of my go-to restaurants for that reason. Additionally, considering the name of the restaurant is the Pickled Pig, I think it would be a nice touch to include a pickle with the sandwich. This would make the experience more memorable.
