Bidrage med feedbackWe stayed at the hotel and decided to eat lunch at the hotel restaurant. The server was unattended and the service was slow, although we were the only customers when we arrived a bit before noon. The hotel held a wedding so we couldn't sit outside. The restaurant interior was bland, loud, and the windows of our seats were too high to look out. Afterward, we should have gone somewhere else.
Tryed this place for an outdoor terrace. On the 4th floor of the Summit Hotel. Not much of a look that really stares at the Medpace campus. Is not in downtown as their promo images try to mediate, it is about 7 miles northeast of downtown. You have seasonal menus, we tried spring 2022. We had the fried cheese appetizer that was amazing. I had the chicken in Soubise sauce, potatoes and beads onions. A sauce really does it and the chicken was cooked for perfection. My fiancée had dives of the meerrot salmon and potatoes with lemon vinaigrette and whistle cheese. Also A the pairings are great, but the Feta cheese is the best. Finished with the Brownie Dessert, which comes with a side cup of ice. Food was amazing, but service was quite below average, even for this city. Not near anything else to do either
I have one word? ZACH!! For starters, Zach is ALWAYS pleasant EACH and EVERY time I visit!! Today happens to be my anniversary weekend so my fiancé and I stopped by Saturday but I forgot they didn?t serve brunch. Zach was by himself but still keep a happy and upbeat tone. The other customers even complimented the service they were given. Once were realized there wasn?t a brunch menu until Sunday, we waited. We returned today, Sunday, and Zach was there again doing an AMAZING JOB!!!! It was only him and Pam but they food was DELICIOUS, HOT, and Pam kept the bottomless mimosas flowing! We will return and great job to the team!! Excellent service!
I hope the mgt sees this, food was actually decent. Could be a nice high end restaurant but so many simple mistakes that are just unacceptable at a high end restaurant. Ordered a bottle of wine, it was not opened professionally at the table. Foil on the bottle still intact and interacting with wine as wine was poured. Totally normal at a cheap restaurant. Salmon salad came without salmon so 3 of us waited until the missed salmon was cooked a delivered. Soup that was ordered never came and we had to make sure it wasn?t added to bill. We never complained. At a nice restaurant I completely expected some offer of a free desert or something for all the mistakes but it was never offered aside from several apologies. We decided not to stay for dessert or the extra drink. Someone who appeared to be management was involved multiple times in the various errors and hopefully will see this and realize that they have a few things to learn to be taken seriously as a high end restaurant. As a hotel bar restaurant with decent food this place is fine. As a nice restaurant in the city, way way way better options. We will not be back.
Wing Review only: Tried both of the wings they had during Cincinnati Wing Week, Everything Wings, and Asian BBQ Wings. First off, best fried wings I had all week. They keep the sauce on the side for take out, which allows the wings to arrive extra crispy at home. If you enjoy mustard the Everything Wings are for you, they were very good, although might have enjoyed more of the everything seasoning in them. I am a sucker for Asian flavors and their Asian BBQ were not disappointing at all. Their soy base was well balanced by other notes (some sweet, others savory). I would also enjoy slightly thicker sauces, but this sauce had a fantastic flavor.
