Gee’s Caribbean Style - Cincinnati

Ugh just nasty the cornbread was crumbled up nothing was fresh. I am utterly disappointed. Everything tasted old. I got the jerk chicken pasta (hardly any chicken in it) It tasted like pure vinegar the mac and cheese was gross tasted like sugar was added to deluxe Kraft. The beef patty was dried out and the bread was hard as a rock. If you can't sell fresh food then don't sell at all. My daughter had food from here and it was ok which made me want to order. My stomach hurt as I write this review. The chicken was old. I can tell old chicken when the outer part is hard and dry. Will never return ever ever ugh. Im from N.Y I def know west indian/jamaican food and they would never. I never had a bad meal in N.Y.C.....you guys are trash for this one. Im not even gonna start on them old a**plantains. Check the pic you can see where I had to spit it out. The food also taste some what spoiled. 10/21/2023 around 3:30 p.m. also I kept picking these little black hard pieces out of the pasta. Overall terrible 0 stars. My kids father bought it and picked it up. He called and they said they would refund watever he bring back......bet. will delete review after refund.

Let me start off by saying I had the food twice from this restaurant and food was fresh and hot and well seasoned it was amazing! I’m in love with the salmon and jerk chicken pasta. Jerk chicken and the sides are if you haven’t tried it yet get there you won’t be disappointed I highly recommend. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner

Ordered Jerk Chicken,Jerk Pork rib tips, Jerk Oxtail Curried Goat Combo, Plantains, Rice Peas, cornbread. The goat Oxtail were served together on top of rice, so the sauces ran together. Flavor was ok on the meats however everything was chopped in such a manner that there were shards and slivers of bone throughout making it inedible. I resorted to checking all the meat with my fingers(messy) but still had bits of bone that I missed. We ordered dinner two nights, but threw away the leftovers as it is not worth the risk of choking or swallowing a bone fragment. Also the Jerk pork tips were covered in bbq sauce so we were unable to detect any jerk flavor. Plantain was good. Cornbread and peas rice were ok. We love Caribbean/Jamaican food so we were very disappointed. Oh- forgot about the patty. It was forgettable. Also the food was packaged in manner that resulted in sauce leaking all over the bag and utensils(utensils were in plastic so would have been usable if we felt like trying to get them out of the greasy packaging) Parking: parking was easy
