Bidrage med feedbackWe had a great experience at this restaurant, trying out a few samples before making our choices. I went with the strawberry balsamic sorbet, which was my non-dairy option, while the rest of my party enjoyed different flavors of gelato. Every bite was delicious and we all left satisfied.
I ordered two scoops of ice cream, the Rowdy Girl Scout and Dutch Chocolate flavors. Both had a smooth chocolate base. The Girl Scout flavor tasted similar to the Dutch Chocolate with thin mints mixed in. Personally, I would skip the Girl Scout flavor next time because I don't like thin mints. Overall, I thought the price of $6.25 was a good deal.
Whenever we're at Findlay Market, this place is a must-visit for us! Whether we're having ice cream for breakfast or just need a pick-me-up like a Helltown or Death before decaf, their selection is always enjoyable and delicious.
Great place for a treat. Dojo states their gelato is creamy and dense , which is quite accurate. Not as dense as ice cream, but not as fluffy as gelato in Italy. We also had a hot Chai which was absolutely delicious! Great customer service too!
Those who have enjoyed authentic Italian gelato have described the Dojo experience as being transported back to Italy. This Queen City and Findlay Market institution offers everything from classic cups of cherry and chocolate to the funky fun flavors of beer and Cap’n Crunch. I also highly recommend adding a shot of espresso to your gelato for a classic Italian affogato or ordering a hot cup of Italian drinking chocolate when the weather gets cooler. Dojo is worth every penny.
