The Curry Shack The Crooked Palm

Excellent curry last week ,as usual as the food here is consistently good. I always visit when I am on my way from Bangkok to Surat Thani as I think it is probably one of the best curries I have eaten in Thailand. I was a bit hesitant on returning this time as I did not know which partner had left as when I was there a couple of months ago we were ready to walk out if a lady had not walked out of the kitchen with a food order as the one sitting behind the counter had not even seen us walk in as she was glued to her computer watching some wailing Thai soap I have to listen to this rubbish at home and do not want it in a restaurant) I am happy to say it is the small smiley lady that walked out the kitchen that night that has taken over and no Thai soaps wailing out.We had a very pleasant evening and will definitely be back when down this way in the near future.Thank you

They do a great indian curry there ,it was a surprise to find a really nice curry shack that does good old english indian curry ,we have even tried the hottest one ,and yes its hot,, but excellant taste to it ,does make you sweat a bit though ,which is a nice thing ,, means its time for a cold beer

Delicious British food. excellent chicken tikka masala as in a British pub. great atmosphere with pool table. only one complaint is that smoking is allowed.

Very delicious food and good portions for a fair price. They serve Mexican, Indian and British food. It is located directly on the street from the beach so you have a beautiful view while eating and drinking
