Bidrage med feedbackMy husband and I had lunch here in April 2018. The venue is super cute and the service was good. Some items from the menu was missing which was a little disappointing but the food we tried (jackfruit peta bread thing savoury Dutch pancakes, vegan options) were delicious.
They made a vegan burger for my daughter, even though it was not on the menu. It was delicious ! I would definitely recommend this cafe, and come back :
Very cute setting, a lovely renovated cottage. But it all went downhill after that. It was like walking into someone's house who wasn't expecting visitors. I couldn't work out who was staff and who were diners. Apparently they were just back from a break, but holiday mode seemed a bit too prevalent. The cabinet was empty and the promises of made-to-order vegan options were not followed up. We ordered pancakes, which turned out to be one pancake that took 20 minutes to make. All a bit too disorganised for my liking.
The staff here are unbelievably friendly, I was greeted with warm smiles and polite conversation. The vegan options are easy to identify, although some are stored/displayed very close to the non-vegan items, such as the cheese-containing foods (the reason I knocked off a star). I chose the raw jaffa cake and it was so tasty, although a bit too rich for me. The coffee here is also great. Lots of options for veggies and vegans alike and a wonderfully warm and welcoming atmosphere.
The most beautiful experience, the most beautiful food, I had the tofu on toast and it is the best I ever had and my partner had the great breakfast and it was so incredible that eating is cooked with so much care and love and that comes through with every bite. also the most loving coworkers who feel so at home and answer any question we had with thought and care can not wait to eat here again!
