The Cuban - Christchurch

Loved the platter and service. Its got a funky atmosphere and feel. Menu looked good so ill be back to try it out again one day. Looks like they were setting up a stage for music later on so might go off after 10

This is a nice place to be on a sunny Sunday! It's in the CBD but the decor and greenery makes it feel like you're out of town. There is a good brunch deal available until 3pm which includes a main of your choice, a drink and some toast (which is pretty delicious). I ordered the Cuban Hash which was pretty tasty, only suggestion I'd make is that it could of used a little more pulled pork. The staff were friendly, I'd definitely come back here again.

Called in for a Sunday brunch, and was a great experience! Staff exceptionally friendly and helpful and although I have never been to Cuba the food certainly seemed authentic, and was very nice. Definitely planning on returning to try out the dinner menu next.

Lovely seating areas and good atmosphere. The staff were very pleasant and nice. The food was good but lacked a kick (I.e not sour enough not sweet enough or not spicy enough). The trio sliders, jerk chicken and albondias were good

What a great experience!! Waiting staff are exceptional. I dare say the best I have dealt with In over 20 years of eating out it Christchurch. I knew the place well when it was the stray dog and wow. What a difference! The whole atmosphere has changed with the new lay out. The food was bang on! Never tried these Cuban flavours and spices before but I'm addicted now. Ha. I had the croquet's and the goat meal while my partner had the fish burger meal and the vegetarian one. I will be going back definitely, not just for the food. I might get on the cocktails at night and check it out.
