Bidrage med feedbackChoose another restaurant should you like to have more options in the menu which is very limited compared to other steakhouses in Lima. Couples dinner is just ok, nothing spectacular. Not coming back again for special event.
Wow! Great steak. Recommended by a local foodie friend and was extremely happy. The food itself was great -- had steak and some local style deserts. Service was good and the place was not too loud which is very good for dinner. It got busier later in the night. One big plus is the beautiful view of the beach. It was great to take a short walk after the meal too.
I went to this restaurant on 30th July to try their dishes.I found their menu selection is just OK. Furthermore the type of beef they sell is mainly imported from the USA. Local produce does not have the same taste.Pros: Clean restaurant and fresh produce.Cons: Overpriced dishes. They also charge customers for bread and butter even if you don't want them.I would not return to this place.
The steak is aged to perfection, I had the "baby beef"..whatever that is it is good. If you like mushrooms, they have like 6 different versions as an appetizer. Unfortunately they have no other appetizers - kind of weird. It was very pricey, especially the wine. They have pasta which my wife ate - it was good but had NO meat or chicken, or options to put that in it! Whats up with that?
We were fortunate to have a waiter who spoke English at El Hornero in the Lima suburb of San Isidro. The friendly and very competent waiter guided us through the menu and served us with professional excellence. We selected Peruvian beef that was so large our waiter suggested we share. We did. We accompanied the beef with sautéed vegetables and a Peruvian Cabernet. The food and wine were very good.
